Global Warming: The World As It Is

With over eight (8) billion humans on earth, a place we refer to as our world, constantly faces a shift in its paradigm. We (humans) fail to recognize the constant shift as entities continue to plunge into their glory with the cover of industrialization and a better tomorrow. We continually require resources to make earth or our world a much more habitable place but at what cost? Organizations carry out operations today which increase the destruction of a habitable planet with little or no remorse. From our recent experiences in different parts of the world where climate change has resulted in the destruction of lives and properties. It is safe to say that our carbon footprints would result in a different horizon for all living beings in the next century (100 years).

We are aware of extinction but yet, we treat it as a fictional topic through our actions and consciousness due to corruption, global domination, and overutilization of natural resources due to greed. The quest to break the existing barrier and push us to a new age of scientific discovery for better living comes with a price; live green, act green, and eat green. However, multiple factors which are avoidable keep us in the vicious cycle of the earth’s destruction. Some of these factors are dominant in some continents such as Africa, South, and North America where corruption and greed seem to be the order of the day.

If we continue at this pace, we would bring about anarchy on earth which is a possibility considered by the influential and wealthy individuals of this world. The justification for such a possibility can be seen in the exploration of habitats on Mars and other planets. The actualization of this quest would result in increased destruction of earth as there would become an alternative planet for opportune individuals to relocate once the annihilation begins.
